What is RentView, and who is it for?
RentView is a modern self-managed rental platform built for Australian landlords and tenants. For property owners, it replaces the traditional property manager — saving thousands in annual fees while giving you full visibility and control. For renters, it provides a transparent, digital-first experience from application through to lease-end.
How much does RentView cost?
We're still finalising our pricing — and we want early access members to have input. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first to hear about our plans, including any founding member rates we offer at launch.
Is RentView available in my state?
Yes. RentView is being built for all Australian states and territories — NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, ACT and NT. Our compliance templates are built for each jurisdiction's tenancy laws, so you'll always be on the right side of local legislation.
Do I need a real estate licence to use RentView?
In most Australian states, landlords are legally permitted to self-manage their own rental properties without a real estate licence. RentView provides the tools and templates to do this compliantly. We recommend consulting your state's fair trading authority or a solicitor if you're unsure about specific requirements in your jurisdiction.
How do tenants pay rent through RentView?
Tenants will be able to pay rent via direct bank transfer or card payment through the RentView platform. Payments are tracked automatically, receipts are generated instantly, and landlords receive alerts if payment is overdue. Every transaction is recorded and accessible to both parties.
Can I move my existing tenants and leases to RentView?
Absolutely. You'll be able to import existing lease details, tenant information and property data when you sign up. Our onboarding guide will walk you through each step, and our support team can assist if you're switching from a traditional property manager.
